What I see is a collection of documents from multiple authors, written in different places, over several decades, that together preserve the memory and testimony of people who lived through the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I see these writings as historical documents first, as records of real events written by people who believed they had encountered something extraordinary.
