The Historical Reliability of the New Testament

A historical exploration of Jesus, the early church, and the eyewitness accounts that shaped Christianity. When I look at the New Testament I do not see a single source text that was arbitrarily written. What I see is a collection of documents from multiple authors, written in different places, over several decades, that together preserve the memory and testimony of people who lived through the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  I see these writings as historical documents first, as records of real events written by people who believed they had encountered something extraordinary. The fact that these texts were produced by different authors in different contexts allows readers today to compare, cross reference, and evaluate them against one another.
